Affiliate Summit East 2011 is almost here!
With the approach of August comes the approach of one of my favorite things of the year.

Why am I excited about a tradeshow? Well, because for me, it’s about more than standing around on uncomfortable carpet in uncomfortable shoes talking to strangers.
Yeah, maybe I use more hand sanitizers than I typically would while at a tradeshow, and maybe I go to bed just as tired as when I ran my first half-marathon.
But I go to bed knowing that I just got to meet people who can help me do my job. Maybe I even met some people who I can help to do their job! And there’s nothing I love more than that.
So, while the preparation seems to take 5 gazillion times longer than the actual show- I’m still excited for each and every one.
Especially Affiliate Summit when we do the LinkTrust mega-booth. It’s like we turned the booth into a party.

It’s mainly all about the people, any tradeshow, any industry- we could be discussing vacuum cleaners and if the people were great- it would be fun.
