  • Mass Assign Tasks: LinkTrust users asked us for the ability to assign the same task to multiple users in a single step. Now you can create one task, assign it to multiple users and watch as each user completes their task individually.
  • New Task and Task Completed Email Notification: Turn on alerts to stay on top of your tasks and get an email notification any time someone assigns you a new task or when one of the tasks you created for someone else is completed.

After talking with many of you at Affiliate Summit West, we saw the need to make the basic features of our system available to people on-the-go.

Our new mobile optimized partner center allows users to access their accounts from any internet-enabled device. Rather than worry about finding an app and installing updates as they come, we’ve designed the LinkTrust site to seamlessly recognize mobile users and deliver the most important features in a familiar interface.

Starting Wednesday, whether you want to view campaign details, check stats, or update a pixel, LinkTrust is just one click away.

Tip of the Week: Mobile and Email Alerts

Mobile and Email Alerts

    • Campaign requests: Approve or deny affiliates’ campaign requests when you’re on the go. Email alerts are mobile optimized to allow you to approve or deny any campaign request from the body of the email. Approving the request also sends the affiliate an approval email, however, you decide if you want to send the affiliate a request denial email. This feature works very similarly to the New Pending Application email alert.



  • New Task and Task Completed Email Notification: Enable this alert to stay on top of your tasks, get an email notification any time someone assigns you a new task or when one of your tasks is completed.
  • Tax Documents Update: Now affiliate managers are alerted when an affiliate edits their tax document. The email alert also gives you the ability to immediately review the recently modified document from the body of your email.

Tip of the Week: User Agent Black and Grey List

User Agent Black & Grey List:

Stop fraud, block search spiders and screen scraper bots before they affect your stats with the new User Agent Black and Grey Lists from LinkTrust.

Now you can stop a bot from redirecting through your tracking links by simply entering its user agent in the new Black List. To improve SEO and allow search-indexing spiders to redirect through your links but not count as a click, enter their user agent in the new Grey List. LinkTrust will allow any click that matches the user agent in the Grey List to redirect to the landing page but will suppress the click in reporting and prevent possible conversions.

Block the most common bots by setting up user agent rules that LinkTrust can validate against your clicks. Use wildcards (*) to broaden or refine your user agent matching. Using wildcards eliminates the need to add every possible combination of user agents in the Black or Grey List by allowing LinkTrust to recognize user agent patterns.

Tip of the Week: Affiliate Trends Report

Affiliate Trends Report:

Watch your affiliate traffic trends like you watch the stock market. Follow the ups and downs of each affiliate’s traffic coming in to know what action you need to take. The new Affiliate Trends Report allows LinkTrust users to quickly determine which affiliates are growing and which are losing ground.

Your top five affiliates by volume are represented in a line graph at the top of the report. You can view any affiliate’s specific statistics by clicking the daily breakout icon.

Regardless of whether the affiliate is one of your top five, each affiliate’s traffic will be displayed below the graph to highlight each day’s activity within the trend. Dig deeper into an affiliate’s performance by clicking on the row’s reporting icons to graph and drill down on a particular affiliate’s traffic or click on a specific day in the trend to further refine your results for a particular day!

Using our proprietary forecasting algorithm, this report can also tell you the expected volume for today based on today’s performance so far and based upon the historical trend.

Trends can be viewed over the last 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, this month and last month. View the traffic trends for all affiliates or for a particular group. Any data point available in the campaign performance report can be trended: impressions, clicks, qualified transactions, approved transactions, geo-filtered clicks, duplicate clicks, expired clicks, duplicate IP filtered clicks, click through rate, approved percentage, eCPM, EPC, revenue, commission and margin.

This report can also be exported to CSV.

Tip of the Week: Traffic Cap Report

When you have a new advertiser trying out your program for the first time you want to ensure you send them quality traffic and that they pay on time. When you get a new affiliate you need to vet their traffic before you turn them loose. To aid in protecting the relationships with your affiliates and advertisers, you have been using traffic caps.

In LinkTrust you can set traffic caps by affiliate/campaign or simply across an entire campaign. Now you can manage and analyze all traffic caps from the Traffic Cap Report.

At a glance you’ll be able to tell which caps have been met and your progress in meeting the rest. Monitoring traffic caps in a single location will help you make more informed decisions, more quickly.

Tip of the Week: Hide Affiliate Referrer

Prohibit affiliate poaching by hiding the click referrer before the consumer traffic redirects to your merchant’s landing page. The traffic is uninterrupted, the clicks and conversions still record in LinkTrust, but the merchant never receives the click’s referrer and therefore cannot identify where the traffic originated from.

Tip of the Week: Clone Creatives

Save precious time adding creatives to campaigns by cloning them from existing campaigns.

Campaign managers can now easily clone creatives from any other campaign in LinkTrust. Cloning a single creative within a campaign can also be done in a single click.
