LeadsCon 2011- Table #67

Join us at Table #67 at LeadsCon 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. We’re sending Jeremy and Bret to spread the word about LinkTrust, the number one affiliate tracking software.

They are looking forward to some great meetings with new and current customers. If you’d like to set up a meeting with them, find them on Twitter @linktrustbret or @linktrustjeremy.

Tip of the Week: Merchant Profiles

Learn how in this LinkTrust training video.

Tip of the Week: Pixel Placing Webinar

Tuesday, Feb. 15, we covered all of the basics of pixel placing for campaigns in LinkTrust. Go step-by-step with me as I explain how to place a pixel, test it and then find the record of it tracking in LinkTrust.

The entire LinkTrust training webinar is recorded for you to watch whenever you need a quick refresher.

Tip of the Week: Fraud Control

Use your affiliate tracking software to take control of fraudulent traffic in three clicks. This LinkTrust training video goes over a few of the fraud control features you should be using, if you aren’t already.

Here’s a little more information about the features I cover in this tip of the week:

1. Use the public proxy filter to eliminate fraudulent traffic for all of your campaigns.

2. Conversion time is fairly easy to gauge, when a transaction takes less time than you’ve determined it should, take advantage of the minimum conversion time fraud control in LinkTrust.

3. Control where your confirmation pixel fires by specifying the approved domain(s) for  your confirmation pages.

Watch the LinkTrust training video on Campaign Fraud Control settings.

Live Webinar Feb. 15, 2011

Join us on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, for the answers to all (ok, pretty much all) your pixel placing needs.

We’ll cover four main aspects of pixels in the hour-long webinar. Register today!

1) Place your affiliate’s pixels in LinkTrust. No matter how long you’ve been on the system, you’re always getting new affiliates. Make sure you’re not doing any extra steps.
2) Troubleshoot your confirmation pixel with your affiliate’s pixels. Having the tools to troubleshoot before passing it off to the affiliate or merchant means even more saved time and they can start running traffic more quickly.
3) Pass data from the merchant to LinkTrust. We’ve got the basics in the LinkTrust support site, but we’ll go over each individual step in the webinar.
4) Pass data from LinkTrust to the affiliate. The more your affiliates know about the traffic, the better targeted they can make it and the happier your affiliates can be.
5) Using Fiddler to help troubleshoot passing data.

Don’t forget to register for the LinkTrust training webinar today. You don’t want to miss this!

Tip of the Week: Creative filter bypass

This one’s for your affiliates living around the world. Let’s say you have an affiliate who has a new creative set up that is only good for traffic from the United States, but he lives in Thailand. When he tries to test the creative, he’ll get an error message.

With the newest feature from LinkTrust, the creative filter bypass, he can test the offer while still geo-targeting the traffic.
