Pixel tracking 101:

Watch this week’s training video and learn the basics of placing an affiliate’s confirmation pixel in LinkTrust. While learning how to place the pixel, you’ll also learn how to include information requested by the affiliate, such as the affiliate commission.

Are you having pixel problems? These questions are the easiest and most obvious ways to troubleshoot common issues we see LinkTrust customers facing.

-Have you personally and visually verified that the correct tracking pixel is on the merchant’s confirmation page?
-Did you begin your test by clicking through your tracking link?
-Is your merchant’s landing page loading completely?
-If the success page is secured (https), are you also using a secured pixel URL?
-Do you have duplicate IP or other traffic filtered turned on?
-Have you completed a test using a tool like Fiddler (www.fiddlertool.com) to verify that all URLs and pixels are loading in the browser?
-Have you verified that the cookie has been written to your computer by the tracking URL?
